| The luminaria ceremony is quite beautiful and touching. At this time, the track is illuminated by the candles which represent those who have been diagnosed with cancer. Bagpipes play, loved ones names are found and honored, and special poems or eulogies are read in commemoration. |

| Relay is a family event for the Jacobs Family. Here Barbara Jacobs, Mrs. Worldwide, takes the opening "victory lap" with her fellow cancer survivors at the Apple Valley Relay. Her daughter, son and husband all came to lend their support and time. |
